Your space for radical healing
We are located at 57 Exchange Street, Suite 203 in downtown Portland, Maine, guests on unceded traditional Wabanaki Confederacy territory.
We stand in solidarity with the Tribes of the Wabanaki Confederacy—the Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Maliseet, and Micmac peoples, and are committed to the values of decolonization. Learn more!
How to find our office suite
We are located at 57 Exchange Street, which is a large brick building on the corner of Exchange St. and Middle St. We are directly across from Post Office Park, and the restaurant Gross Confection Bar is in the ground floor of our building. We have two entrances:
Exchange Street entrance. The front door marked “57” leads to a set of lobby stairs. From there, you can either take the elevator to 2, or you can take the stairs until you reach the first landing door (the door is not marked with the floor you are on.)
Market Street entrance is ADA accessible, and requires no stairs. The address is not visible on the building, but is 72 Market Street if you’re finding it using a map app. This entrance is the last door of this building on Market Street before you reach the corner of Middle Street. The large brown door is unmarked, but next to it is a buzzer system (it will be unlocked during the day). From there, follow the hallway to the elevator. This level is called G. Our offices are on level 2.
Our building entrances are unlocked between 8am and 5:15pm, Monday - Friday. If you are scheduled for a session before/after those times, please connect with your therapist about using the buzzer system.
Parking is available at metered spaces nearby, and there are also several parking garages within a short walk of our offices.
Restrooms are not located inside our office suite. There are a few restroom options:
On our floor, right outside our office suite are restrooms marked “women’s” and “men’s.” Both need a key to use, which are hanging up in our waiting room.
There are also three all-gender single bathrooms on the ground level, which do not need a key. One of these is wheelchair accessible. From our office, these restrooms are accessible by elevator only (take to level G, we are on level 2). You can also access these restrooms by entering from the Market Street entrance, and then taking the elevator to level 2.
At the heart of healing is safety and connection. Our space offers:
ADA accessibility.
Sustainably-minded furnishings (we bought most furniture gently used, from local, allergen-free locations to reduce the impact of consumer culture waste)
Art and decor reflecting Maine makers, our queer community, and expressions of mental health & healing
Plants, plants, plants!
Welcoming room with tea, water, and reading material
Six comfortable offices for therapy
