A Co-Working Space Designed for Therapists

Therapy for the People (TFTP) members enjoy the ease of starting (or growing) their private practice with significantly reduced overhead and startup costs, and the option to increase their membership plan as their business grows. We offer competitive membership rates, a range of business services and amenities, and meaningful participation in a kindred clinical community. TFTP is not an agency or group practice, so members maintain full autonomy of their private practices. We have developed a positive reputation for being a source of affirming and skilled therapists, and frequently receive requests from people throughout Maine looking for a provider—we pass these referrals along to our co-working members, and can help to fill your caseload, eliminating the need to pay for professional directory services. You have the flexibility to change your membership as you grow your practice.

We offer yearly contracts, as well as a 3-month “try us out” period. You won’t be locked in to a rate, and can add days as you build your caseload. Your membership fee is a business expense that is tax deduction!

 
  • Basic membership is $300 per month. This includes one day per week of office use that you can schedule with the TFTP co-owners. Becoming a member starts with a one-time-only sign-on fee of $120.

    Every additional day of office use is $100 per month (e.g. 2 days per week = $400 per month).

  • Membership and access to co-working offices are subject to the availability of office space. Complete the membership application to share more about yourself and to inquire about current availability. To request changes to your membership plan please contact a TFTP co-owner.
